1977
Heritage Christian Academy, formerly Baptist Temple Christian School, was founded in 1977 under the leadership of Rev. David Dupree.  It began as an A.C.E. school with 32 students and 7 employees.

1985
In 1985, the A.C.E. program was discontinued and we began using the A Beka Curriculum with traditional classrooms.

1988
In 1998, the name of the school was changed to Heritage Christian Academy.
Over the years we added different daycare ages beginning with K4, and now we are able to provide care for children as young as 6 weeks old.

2019
As HCA has grown, the Lord has provided us with the facilities we need. We currently have elementary and high school buildings, gymnasium, and a soccer field.

The Future
We have plans for a new daycare building in the near future. This new building will open up our currently facility for growth in the middle school ages.

We look forward to the future to see what God is going to do through and for HCA.
